Christmas Joy!

Merry Christmas from the Westmoreland Family!

The Magic of Christmas is all around us!

Christmas Cowboys

Dillon finally got his first haircut. He did so great and I just thought these pictures were too cute!

Dallas just sits back with his Cotton Candy flavored Dumdum and watches Cars. Where are these salons for adults?

Catch'n Up

Last month Mom, Chanel and I met up in Las Vegas for a little girls weekend. It was a blast but we all missed Chelsea! Chaney was there for The Pulse which is a big dance workshop and we got to see her in action. She's so awesome and it was so cool to see her dance! When she wasn't dancing we were out on the town! Here we are at the beautiful Bellagio!

Chaney & me at the Venetian

Mom & Dad treated us to the amazing Dinner buffet at the Bellagio. I just about lost it seeing all those desserts in one setting. Chanel and I were so excited, we had to try everything. We were laughing so hard we couldn't even talk to each other as we piled our plates as best as we could. Chaney said she's never seen my eyes so big, and mom was crack'n up as we headed back to our table with 4 plates full of desserts!

We shopped and ate ourselves silly! Mom also taught Chan and I how to play blackjack. We got pretty good too. Hit me... Hit me.... Hit me!! Ah, too much fun!!

Thanksgiving was amazing as Deborah cooked us up a delectable dinner with the help of Aunt Barb & Uncle Irv

Thanksgiving at the Westmoreland house is always so warm and cozy. We were so excited to visit with Barb & Irv....when we're together we're never short of laughs and memorable moments.

Lately we've been having some goofy moments!

Dilly Bear loves the Christmas Tree. No matter where we put him in the room, he rolls over to it!

Oh Dilly Bar! ( yes...we have about 20 different names for Dillon)

Its been so much fun watching the Broncos! We get all dressed up in our Bronco gear and gather around the TV with a big bowl of popcorn! Dallas acts likes he's interested, but we know he's just there for the food :)

We've also taken advantage of the nice weather and made a few trips to the Zoo. This seems to be the highlight for Dallas...Chasing the Ducks! Funny Isn't it? Of all the animals we go to see, he loves the Ducks.

Monkey Business

Halloween at the Westmoreland house was extra spooky this year! Dillon was a tasty Hot Dog & Dallas was a little Monkey.I felt bad I didn't have a costume so I threw on some Mini Mouse ears we got at Disneyland a couple years ago and it did the trick!

This Monkey costume was hilarious. One foot was sewn on backwards and if you look closely there a Banana sewn onto his arm.

The back shot is too funny. I love how the costume pooches around the belly and bum. The night before Halloween we took the kids to the Zoo at night for Zoo lights and Dallas fit right in with all the other crazy monkeys!

Mmmm........Yummy!

Does it get any better than watching them open their candy when they get home? I've never seen Dallas's eyes so big! I mean the kid can't even say trick or treat but he knows how to tear open a twix!

His favorite by far is the sucker! Yep, that's the stuff!

Zoo Lights was a little crazy, but just to see Dallas walking around as a Monkey made it so worth it......

....and Dilly made the cutest hot dog ever!

Weekend in Greer!

Grandma & Grandpa Westmoreland took our family up to Greer this past weekend. I've haven't seen northern Arizona for years and forgot how beautiful it is. We stayed at the Greer Lodge in a beautiful log cabin and enjoyed the cooler weather. There's a little pond & stream just outside the cabin that Dallas loved to play in.

This special trip was to Celebrate Deborah's Birthday! She looked absolutely radiant with her strands of pearls and purple ensemble!

Grandma & her Grandboys

Happy Birthday!

Grandpa & Dillon

Say Cheese!

Dallas got a new ATV that was perfect for the trip. Only problem is, he'd rather push it that ride it.

There's all these different lakes in and around Greer so we visited one and let Dallas throw rocks in the water (his favorite things to do).

Grandma & Dillon

How cute it this? Dallas was even wearing his fishing vest for the occasion.

....and of course we snapped some great family photos!

We were there just in time to see all the leaves changing color.
Greer is such a unique place with great places to eat and beautiful nature. We'll never forget this wonderful weekend getaway
with Grandma & Grandpa W.

Waterton Trip

Every year our family looks forward to the Waterton Trip! One of my most favorite places in the world! We were so excited to get out of this Arizona heat, but to our surprise it was warm in Alberta! Grandma drove us down with a trailer full of food, and took such good care of us! The weather was beautiful and the first thing we did was go down to the bay!

Dallas walked right in! Mind you the water temp. has to be 35F!

We couldn't get him out of there! He just loved it!

See that thing bobbing out there? That would be Clay. Crazy!

We got one really cold day so we snuggled up next to the fire and took a drive up to red rock.

Dallas and Daddy on the bridge at Red Rock

It was so cool, it actually snowed! You can see it on the mountain tops.

Gorgeous!

My Favorite thing to do on our trip is go Horseback riding. Tyrell Duce has become a good family friend and he took us on the best ride!

Dallas loved the horses and we had to keep holding him back or he'd a hopped on one himself!

Our little Dill Pickle

Clay's favorite thing to do is take the boat out. The lake was a little choppy but that didn't stop us!

I love this shot.

On our drive up to Cameron Lake we saw this woman painting. I thought it was so cool so we stopped and took her picture. She sells her work in town.

Grandma and her Dilly Bear were inseparable. Mom and I have such similar mannerisms, that we think Dillon thought she was me!

Grandma & The kids at Cameron Lake

My parents took this same picture of me on the same rock when I was a little girl. Too cute for words.

I think every kid who comes to the cabin has worn this little Indian number. Grandma made sure that Dallas had his moment in it too.

Dallas had a blast on the boat...he even dressed the part!

The leaves were changing color and falling everywhere. We don't get to see that anymore so it was extra special.

We came back to Calgary a few days early to see Grandpa and took a trip over to the Zoo! The Rices joined us and Papa came too! It was so much fun!

We stopped for some lunch and Dallas had a ball with this sucker. He nicely offered me some as you can see.

It was one fun event after the next! Uncle Mike & Dad took us out on the ATVs. I've looked forward to it all year! We set up camp and go riding, then come back to roast smokies and smores! Thanks Uncle Mike for taking us on another awesome adventure!

Grandpa & Pop'n Fresh

Uncle Mike had a new toy to try out...the Razor! They actually put Logans car seat in it so Logan could ride! He did so good!

Dallas stayed back on the first ride with Grandma & Grandpa. Its no surprise that it was then he had his first bag of Potato Chips and a diet coke!
Cody and Aunt Shauna! Boy this family knows how to ride Quads!
Uncle Mike & Logan

Cameron is a master smore maker. Thanks to his technique we had the best smores ever! He and Cody also make a fine cup of Hot Chocolate!
Mom put on quite the spread as she usually does. Noth'n like coming back from a night ride to a full on banquet! Dad & I sure are enjoying it! Thanks Mom for all the yummy food!

We can't stand saying goodbye to Grandma & Grandpa, but our trip came to an end. They always show us the greatest time, and once again we had the most memorable vacation! We owe them a giant Thank You for taking such good care of us! Dallas got one last special moment with Grandma at the Mall as we headed out of town.
