Extra, Extra...Read all about it!!

We're having a Baby! That's correct, I said Baby. It's OK, I really can't believe it either! It certainly came as a surprise, but what a gift and an amazing miracle! God definitely has a sense of humor. Clay and I are so excited and are really just putting our faith and trust in God. Its been a bit overwhelming for us but we know what an absolute blessing this baby will be to our family.

There's just something about getting flowers that makes your whole day light up. I love having them in the house, they just make me happy! Thanks to both Momma D and Mother for the most beautful boquets! It really lifted my spirits!

We thought we'd get in one more trip to the Zoo while the weather is still good.

Hoppy Easter!

Romans 6:8-11

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

I love this scripture and I believe it so much! Its so easy to get carried away with other Easter festivities but the overwhelming act of Christs death and amazing miracle of his resurrection deserves great praise! It was so fun to share this special weekend as a family and ponder over the greatest gift that has ever been given to me...Gods grace, love and mercy.
