Waterton Trip

Every year our family looks forward to the Waterton Trip! One of my most favorite places in the world! We were so excited to get out of this Arizona heat, but to our surprise it was warm in Alberta! Grandma drove us down with a trailer full of food, and took such good care of us! The weather was beautiful and the first thing we did was go down to the bay!

Dallas walked right in! Mind you the water temp. has to be 35F!

We couldn't get him out of there! He just loved it!

See that thing bobbing out there? That would be Clay. Crazy!

We got one really cold day so we snuggled up next to the fire and took a drive up to red rock.

Dallas and Daddy on the bridge at Red Rock

It was so cool, it actually snowed! You can see it on the mountain tops.

Gorgeous!

My Favorite thing to do on our trip is go Horseback riding. Tyrell Duce has become a good family friend and he took us on the best ride!

Dallas loved the horses and we had to keep holding him back or he'd a hopped on one himself!

Our little Dill Pickle

Clay's favorite thing to do is take the boat out. The lake was a little choppy but that didn't stop us!

I love this shot.

On our drive up to Cameron Lake we saw this woman painting. I thought it was so cool so we stopped and took her picture. She sells her work in town.

Grandma and her Dilly Bear were inseparable. Mom and I have such similar mannerisms, that we think Dillon thought she was me!

Grandma & The kids at Cameron Lake

My parents took this same picture of me on the same rock when I was a little girl. Too cute for words.

I think every kid who comes to the cabin has worn this little Indian number. Grandma made sure that Dallas had his moment in it too.

Dallas had a blast on the boat...he even dressed the part!

The leaves were changing color and falling everywhere. We don't get to see that anymore so it was extra special.

We came back to Calgary a few days early to see Grandpa and took a trip over to the Zoo! The Rices joined us and Papa came too! It was so much fun!

We stopped for some lunch and Dallas had a ball with this sucker. He nicely offered me some as you can see.

It was one fun event after the next! Uncle Mike & Dad took us out on the ATVs. I've looked forward to it all year! We set up camp and go riding, then come back to roast smokies and smores! Thanks Uncle Mike for taking us on another awesome adventure!

Grandpa & Pop'n Fresh

Uncle Mike had a new toy to try out...the Razor! They actually put Logans car seat in it so Logan could ride! He did so good!

Dallas stayed back on the first ride with Grandma & Grandpa. Its no surprise that it was then he had his first bag of Potato Chips and a diet coke!
Cody and Aunt Shauna! Boy this family knows how to ride Quads!
Uncle Mike & Logan

Cameron is a master smore maker. Thanks to his technique we had the best smores ever! He and Cody also make a fine cup of Hot Chocolate!
Mom put on quite the spread as she usually does. Noth'n like coming back from a night ride to a full on banquet! Dad & I sure are enjoying it! Thanks Mom for all the yummy food!

We can't stand saying goodbye to Grandma & Grandpa, but our trip came to an end. They always show us the greatest time, and once again we had the most memorable vacation! We owe them a giant Thank You for taking such good care of us! Dallas got one last special moment with Grandma at the Mall as we headed out of town.

Family Update

The first week in August we traveled to Salt Lake City for Chanels Diabetes Fundraiser. It was such a blast and it was so much fun to see all the family that came to support her. Dallas had an especially great time. He got to play with his cousins, eat popcorn, snow cones, and dirt (as it was reported by many family members). I didn't get many photos, so if anybody has some, would you mind e-mailing them to me? I would greatly appreciate it!

Grandpa drove us up to Park City and Auntie Chaney and Dallas were playing Footsie in the Car.

The weather was perfect and there was an Art Festival going on in Park City.

We found a cool shaded spot on the grass and Grandpa went and got us a pizza! Dillon loved the cool grass.

I tried to get a decent shot of these two....Dallas just won't ever sit still the little stinker!

Grandma Snuggling with her little Dill Pickle

Clay and I took a little ride up the mountain.

Looks like Dallas had some fun while we were gone.

Of course we had to go back and visit the old stomping grounds. How time flies!

Last month Aunt Barb & Uncle Irv came in town. They stayed up at the JW Marriott (where Clay & I got married) with Dan & Deborah. They invited us our for the day and we had a ball. Here we are floating down the lazy river!

Grandpa Westmoreland treated us to lunch by the pool!

Spongebob made an appearance at the Hotel and boy did Dallas love him!

Here's Dallas after eating a yummy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Dillon is really filling out now. He smiles all the time.....what a sweetheart he is.

I've always loved bath time, and the best part is... the kids love it!
