Ok, I have an excuse for being so late! Its called Pregnant! I probably use that excuse for everything now but its true! I have not been feeling very well, and didn't even get my Christmas cards out to you all. I apologize, and hope that everyone had a great Christmas and
wonderful New Year!
We had an early Christmas with Grandma & Grandpa Westmoreland! It was a sight! Dallas didn't know what to do with himself seeing all those shiny presents so neatly wrapped. He tore right through them of course with a little help from mom & dad.
Aunt Barb & Uncle Irv gave Dallas Elmo Live! Just look at that face! I think someone has a new friend. Thanks Barb & Irv!
Of course Grandma & Grandpa Westmoreland spoiled us rotten this Christmas! Dallas got some new books and Backyardagain DVD's! Sweet! Thanks Dan & Deborah for the wonderful Christmas!
Off we go to sunny California! Aunt Channey flew into Phoenix and drove with us to Newport where we were spending Christmas with the Beattie Gang! Dallas had a great trip because his best friend sat next to him the whole way! And no.... he's not picking his nose, but it looks like it!
Yeah!!!! Finally we made it and somebody was pretty excited to see his Grandma & Grandpa Beattie! Smooches all around! Our first day we settled into an awesome beach house right on Newport Beach! It was little chili but that didn't stop us from having a blast!
Deborah flew in to see Wicked with us in L.A. It was so amazing and the theatre was gorgeous! It was probably the best show I've ever seen! If you ever get a chance to see it, you won't be disappointed! We had a ball and we loved that Deborah could be there with us! It just wouldn't have been the same without her!
On a warmer day we all took a picnic on the beach and Dad, Clay and ol' stinky briches(Chanel) tossed a football around.
Dallas had a blast playing in the sand and tried really hard not to eat it.

One of the best parts of the whole trip was taking Dallas to see Santa Clause. It was an experience I'll never forget! He actually did really well.... and really liked Santa's Suit.

Chelsea & Tim arrived on Christmas Eve and the whole Beattie gang was back together again!
It only took 5 tries to get this shot!
Dallas with Aunt Chowsie & Uncle Timmy
I think the one thing we were all looking forward to the most was mom's Christmas dinner! She really outdid herself! It was just like old times! Thanks mom for all the hard work and Delicious food!

Finally.....Toys! This sweet ride was from Grandma & Grandpa Beattie! You think he likes it?
Of all the gifts he got, Grandma got him a Gumby and its become his most favorite toy!
It was so fun just to see his face as he peeked through the paper to look at his gifts.Daddy had been waiting all year to give him this dump truck. A week before Christmas he just about lost it and almost gave it to him, but the waiting paid off!

Cool Pirate Ship Dallas!
And Dallas got his first Mickey from Aunt Chels! Look how excited he is! Its like he new where we were going!
DISNEYLAND!!!!!! Dallas was a little unsure of Mickey but he was in pure heaven! It was Tim's first time to Disneyland too! We were ready for and adventure!!
There's something about the entrance to Disneyland. You get all excited and its like you can smell the Corn Dogs! :) Its quite an enchanting experience!

It's become tradition to get a family shot on this staircase in the French Quarter.
Ah, here we are in the Tiki Tiki Room. I hadn't been in there for years, and it hasn't changed a bit! Dallas sure loved all the talking birds and light effects. I'm pretty sure this was Tim's favorite attraction.
Here's Clay & Dallas! We just got off the Winni The Poo ride and ended up in Honeyland.

We did a lot of standing in line. Dallas snuggled up to Grandpa as we waited for lunch at the famous French Market! (The best chowder & Jambalaya in the world!)
Grandma & Dallas standing in line for the Haunted Mansion
Aunt Channey & Dallas in line for Pirates of the Caribbean
Can you spot Chanel, Chelsea & Tim? Hint......Pink Cup.
I can't believe mom & dad got this shot! This is the Peter Pan Ride of course! Clay and I were amazed at how well Dallas did on all the rides. He loved it! I thought he might get scared but he was a champ! It made it all the more fun for the rest of us just to see how excited he got!
We had to say goodbye to the crew as they all headed off to Hawaii. I know.....what a crappy place to go right? Clay and I were so sad we couldn't join them, but did get to spend a few extra days in San Diego. Here we are in Del Mar...Clay's most favorite place in the whole world.
Dallas was pretty stoked!
He got to play a little more in the sand, and even got to see his dad surf!
Dallas & I would hang out up on the grass that overlooks the beach at Del Mar. Clay surfed here almost everyday and even got to go out with his buddy Dan Gutman. Clay was in Surf heaven!

This is my favorite shot of the whole trip! Chanel & Chelsea bought him these sunglasses at Disneyland and they have to be the funniest things I've ever seen.
One cool thing we did was go to the Aqarium at UCSD in La Jolla. It's not Sea World but it was perfect for the little guy.
Ahhh, somebody help me!
Ahhh, somebody help me!
Back at the hotel room Dallas had a ball playing with all his new toys! I don't think he really cared what we did during the day, he just wanted to get back to the hotel room!
It was finally time to pack up and head home. It was a good think this naked cowboy was around to help me pack! We were so sad to leave but had a wonderful trip and so many great memories to take home with us! We owe Mom & Dad Beattie a GREAT BIG THANKS for giving us the most amazing Christmas Trip Ever!!!
